When you talk about experience, Pat has it, in life and in the real estate industry. A licensed Realtor since 1977, she joined Gertrude Gardner in 1982. She has been a Million dollar producer since 1983.
In 2002 following Gardner’s merger with Prudential, Pat became the Director of Relocation, a position she held until 2011 when she returned to full time sales.
In 2013, she assumed the management of the Bay St Louis and Diamondhead offices. However, she has consistently remained loyal to her buyer and seller clients in St. Tammany and has remained a top producer throughout her management career while mentoring many agents and upcoming managers.
She is a graduate of the Floyd Wickman Sweat Hogs program and both of the highly respected Ninja Selling and Ninja Leadership Installation.
Born in Austin, TX, her familiy moved to Calhoun County when she was in the sixth grade. She graduated from Calhoun High School, attended Victoria College, Texas A and I ( now A & M Kingsville) and the University of Houston, becoming a third grade teacher.
She and Art have been married almost 53 years. The family moved to Slidell in 1974 when Art was transferred to the New Orleans area. Art recently retired from the dredging industry to devote full time to playing golf and managing their Dream Vacations Travel Business. They have 3 grown sons, 3 daughters-in-law and six beautiful grandchildren from 21 down to 8.
Pat has not only excelled in the real estate sales and management areas, she has served in many Realtor organizations at the local and state levels. She was the Realtor of the Year for St Tammany in 1985 and served as the president of the organization in 1989. She has served the St. Tammany Women’s Council of Realtors as president in 1984, 1993 and 2004. She has twice been the Chairman of the Louisiana Political Action Committee and a trustee for over ten years, cumulatively. Pat definitely believes in giving back to her industry. She has been a major donor to the RPAC for several years which helps to retain our Private Property Rights. She has also served on the Louisiana Realtors Board of Directors for several terms over the past 40 years. As a Certified Residential Specialist, she served as the Louisiana State CRS President in 2004.
In 2011, Pat was the recipient of the Gardner Realtors’ prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for her service to the Industry.
She is an active member of the Mississippi Gulf Coast association of Realtors where she currently is serving as the Co-Chairman of the Professional Development Committee. She is also an active member of the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors, the Louisiana Association and the National Association of Realtors.
Outside of Real Estate, she and Art maintain membership in both the East St. Tammany and the Hancock County, Mississippi Chambers of Commerce. She serves as the Chaplain for the St. Tammany Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution. She is a Life Member of the Slidell Junior Auxiliary and is a member of the Slidell Camellia Society.
While community and real estate are extremely important to her, her world also revolves around her church and family. They are longtime members of First Baptist Church in Slidell, the Koinonia Adult Sunday School Class and she sings in the choir. They enjoy traveling when they can get away and also love spending time with their grandchildren who live nearby.
