"Yancy Pogue,, I will be forever grateful to you for helping me find my wonderful little corner of the world. Your patience and knowledge helped me get through a tedious process with ease. Thank you for all your hard work. My best,, Karen West"
"In the summer of 2014,, I was living in New Orleans after retiring in 2013 from an energy company in Oklahoma City and friends persuaded to take a look at Bay Saint Louis. So,, I came over,, drove around with a friend,, fell in love with the town,, and saw a couple of houses that looked interesting and called the realtors on the for sale signs. Gardner Realtors was handling the second or third house and Yancy Pogue was the listing real estate agent. I called him and he immediately came over and I knew within a few minutes he was the one I wanted to work with.
And work for me he did,, tirelessly. After describing to him what I wanted,, he showed me everything available of possible interest,, unfortunately not much at that time. But he knew exactly what I was looking for. All the while,, I was still living in New Orleans and after several weeks of checking out houses and lots to no avail,, one day I received a call from him and he told me another realtor had just told him about a house she was about to list and thought it might be perfect for the client he had been working with (that would be me) and if I could come over and look at it at once,, she'd wait to put it on the open market. I came over right away; Yancy was waiting on me in the front yard,, showed me the house and I agreed to buy it on the spot. There were a few problems with the house,, but with Yancy's expert help and infinite patience everything was settled and we closed on the house August 14,, to my happy and great satisfaction. I don't think any real estate agent could have worked harder or taken more interest in finding the perfect house for me than Yancy Pogue. I love my house,, my street,, my neighborhood. I have recommended him every chance I've gotten and should I ever need a realtor,, he will be the one and only one I'll call.
As an extra bonus,, I made a new friend and someone I know I can count on. He's proven that!
