Working on the team of one of the top Realtors in the New Orleans area requires dedication, organization, and perseverance. I began developing the necessary skills for my position when I attended Louisiana State University, where I earned my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees. Twenty years of teaching and a Real Estate License added further preparation; however, my mother and predecessor, who worked with Chris for 11 years, was my greatest teacher.
One of my many roles on the Chris Smith Homes Team is Transaction Coordinator. I follow each property from start to finish every step of the way. My main objective is to keep communications open with the Title Company, Lender, and other Agent to ensure progression towards a successful Act of Sale and Closing. Additionally, I prepare leases, amendments, marketing agreements, counter offers and other documents. During the listing process of a property, often I will be a point of contact for the seller concerning supporting documents needed, MLS listing details, showing appointments, presentation of offers, and much more.
