About Me

I HAVE BEEN IN THE REAL ESTATE BUSINESS FOR OVER 38 YEARS. I HAVE SOLD OVER A THOUSAND PROPERTIES IN THREE PARISHES. HAVING RAISED 4 CHILDREN AS A SINGLE MOM IN THIS BUSINESS, IT IS DEEPLY ENGRAINED IN ME. I HAVE OWNED MY OWN COMPANY, WHICH WAS THE LARGEST IN 3 PARISHES. I EVENTUALLY SOLD IT WHEN MY HUSBAND GOT GRAVELY ILL. AFTER HIS DEATH, I RETURNED TO THE CAREER I SO LOVE.

I HAVE 4 CHILDREN AND 9 GRANDCHILDREN AND 3 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN. WOW!! I SOUND OLD! I PROMISE I WAS A CHILD BRIDE!!

I HAVE BEEN PRESIDENT AND BOARD MEMBER ON MORE ORGANIZATIONS THAN I CAN LIST HERE. ABOUT 85% OF MY BUSINESS COMES FROM PREVIOUS CLIENTS BECAUSE I TREAT THEM LIKE FAMILY!!

ON MY OFF TIME, I LOVE TO DANCE, PLAY CARDS, ENJOY MY GRANDCHILDREN AND FOOTBALL!! I AM AN AVID LSU, SAINTS AND SOUTHEASTERN FOOTBALL FAN.

MY HUSBAND AND I ENJOYED BALL ROOM DANCING FOR YEARS AND I DANCED IN COMPETITION. NOW WE ALSO ENJOY SQUARE DANCING AND HAVE MADE MANY NEW FRIENDS THERE.

MY DECEASED HUSBAND. JOHN LANGAN, WAS ONE OF THE CHINESE BANDITS ON THE 1958-59 LSU NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM. COACH PAUL DIETZEL WAS ONE OF OUR GOOD FRIENDS AND HELPED ME GIVE AN ATHLETIC AWARD IN JOHN'S NAME EACH YEAR UNTIL HIS DEATH. IN 2014 BILLY CANNON TOOK HIS PLACE AND PRESENTED THE AWARD WITH ME.

I SERVED AS PRESIDENT AND AM NOW A BOARD MEMBER OF THE SLU FELIONS. A LARGE GROUP OF WOMEN THAT SUPPORT OUR SOUTHEASTERN LIONS FOOTBALL PROGRAM, ALONG WITH OTHER SPORTS AT THE UNIVERSITY.

MY PRESENT HUSBAND, JOE LOBUE, AND I WERE KING AND QUEEN OMEGA XX , WHICH IS OUR LOCAL MARDI GRAS KREWE, WE ARE BOTH CHARTER MEMBERS AND RIDE IN OUR PARADE EACH YEAR.

I WAS RECENTLY NAMED AS ONE OF OUR AREAS "TOP 20 MOST INFLUENTIAL WOMEN" BY OUR LOCAL NEWSPAPER.
